Eevee has long been a fan-favorite Pokémon thanks to its 8 adorable possible evolutions. So much so that Nintendo released a game dedicated to those fans, titled Pokémon Let’s Go! Eevee.

Additionally, Eevee’s many evolutions–or “eeveelutions”–are a must-have for anyone hoping to complete their Pokédex, so Eevee, therefore, is a very desirable Pokémon.

It should be noted that before you can get an Eevee in Pokémon BDSP, you will need to first obtain the National Dex.

Where to Find Eevee in Pokémon BDSP

Get an Eevee from Bebe

If you have the National Dex, you can enter the house east of the Pokémon Center in Hearthome City and speak to Bebe.

She will simply give you an Eevee. Easy as that! No egg-hatching, no fetch quests, she will just give it to you.

Catch an Eevee in the Trophy Garden

On the north side of Route 212, south of Hearthome, there’s a Pokémon Mansion with a big garden. In this garden, you can find certain Pokémon which change each day.

Once you have the National Dex, Eevee will be able to appear in the Pokémon Mansion’s Trophy Garden, but the available Pokémon are randomly determined each day.

Go into the east room of the Mansion and speak to Mr. Backlot, who will tell you which Pokémon are available today.

If he doesn’t mention Eevee, then you will need to come back and try again the next day.

How to Evolve Eevee

As mentioned at the top of this guide, Eevee has 8 distinct evolutions, each requiring different conditions to acquire, so we’ve prepared a list of each one and how to evolve Eevee to get them.

Note that you obviously can’t revert an “Eeveelution” back into Eevee so you will need to breed them to get more Eevees, or farm them from the Trophy Garden when they’re available.

How to Evolve Eevee into Vaporeon

To get Vaporeon, you will simply need to use a Water Stone on your Eevee. Look for one in your Bag’s “Other Items” pocket, select it with and then select an Eevee in your party to begin the evolution.

How to Evolve Eevee into Jolteon

To get Vaporeon, you will simply need to use a Thunder Stone on your Eevee. Look for one in your Bag’s “Other Items” pocket, select it with and then select an Eevee in your party to begin the evolution.

How to Evolve Eevee into Flareon

To get Vaporeon, you will simply need to use a Fire Stone on your Eevee. Look for one in your Bag’s “Other Items” pocket, select it with and then select an Eevee in your party to begin the evolution.

How to Evolve Eevee into Espeon

Eevee can naturally evolve into Espeon if it has a high happiness level. You can use the Friendship Checker Pokétch App to monitor the happiness of Eevee while it is in your party.

When you see two hearts appear over Eevee’s icon, it is happy enough to evolve. All you need to do next is to level it up once to evolve it. You will need to do this during the day to get an Espeon.

How to Evolve Eevee into Umbreon

The process for evolving Eevee into Umbreon is exactly the same as the process for Espeon, but you will need to level it up at night when its happiness level is high.

How to Evolve Eevee into Leafeon

There are actually two ways to evolve Eevee into Leafeon. When Leafeon was first added to the Pokédex, it could only be acquired by leveling up your Eevee next to the Mossy Rock in Eterna Forest.

You can still do this if you wish. Even just using a Rare Candy on an Eevee while standing near the Mossy Rock will cause it to evolve into Leafeon.

In recent games, however, Eevee has been able to evolve into Leafeon via use of a Leaf Stone. This is still the case in Pokémon BDSP.

Look for one in your Bag’s “Other Items” pocket, select it with and then select an Eevee in your party to begin the evolution.

How to Evolve Eevee into Glaceon

There is only one way to evolve Eevee into Glaceon. When Glaceon was first added to the Pokédex, it could only be acquired by leveling up your Eevee next to the Icy Rock on Route 217.

This is still the case in BDSP. Note that even just using a Rare Candy on an Eevee while standing near the Icy Rock will cause it to evolve into Leafeon.

How to Evolve Eevee into Sylveon

Unfortunately for Sylveon fans, this is not possible.

To keep the remake true to the original game, ILCA have decided to only include Pokémon from Generations 1, 2, 3 & 4. Sylveon is a Generation 6 Pokémon and so cannot be acquired in (or sent to) this game.

Thank you for choosing Super SwitchUp as your source for this guide. We hope that the information above has proved useful and that we see you again soon!
