Whenever a new Nintendo Switch title launches, many of us are left wondering how we can get some use out of our Amiibos, especially when new Amiibos are released for the game. Metroid Dread is no exception and the tantalizing Metroid Dread Amiibo Two-Pack is more than enough to get your hopes up.

How to Use Amiibo in Metroid Dread

While in-game, press to open the Options menu.

There, you will see that the third option down is “Amiibo”. Select this to activate the NFT touchpoint on your Switch Lite, Joycon, or Pro Controller.

The touchpoint on the Joycons and the Switch Lite is inside the right thumbstick . On official Nintendo Pro Controllers, it is at the center, under the Nintendo logo.

Place your Joycon’s base on the touchpoint and the Amiibo will be scanned, unlocking your in-game reward.

Metroid Dread Compatible Amiibo & Unlock Rewards

Unfortunately, the only Amiibo you will be able to use with Metroid Dread are those which are Metroid-related. Thankfully, this also includes the many Smash Bros. Metroid Amiibo; bringing the total of compatible Amiibo up to 8.

Below you will find a table with details on each Amiibo and what it will do for you in-game:
